The Impossible Dream - Orchestra Concert
On Friday, May 10 in the Auditorium, be sure to see the FBC Orchestra as they present “The Impossible Dream.” With an exciting selection of music taken from some of Hollywood’s finest productions, including such favorites as Les Miserables, The Sound of Music and Man of La Mancha, our program is sure to be entertaining and memorable.

Admission is FREE, and the Young Adult Mission Team is pre-selling tickets for gourmet desserts and coffee to be served at the event. Click here for more info on fundraiser. The concert begins at 7:30pm. What a wonderful opportunity to invite friends and family to an evening of music and fellowship and dreams!

All Baptism Service
Do you have questions about baptism? What it means? Why do it? Would you like to be baptized in the June 2 All Baptism Service? If so, please sign-up to attend the Adult Baptism Class on Sunday, May 5 at 12:45pm. You may sign up at the Guest Services or Worship kiosk.

If you have a child that would like to be baptized, there is a sign-up for the Children’s Sidestep Baptism class on either Sunday, April 28 or Sunday, May 19 at 11:15am. You can find information and a signup sheets at the Worship or Guest Services Kiosks.

Interpreted for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Worship led in a modern, contemporary style can be found on Sunday mornings at 9:30. Praise bands, complete with a rocking rhythm section and brass ensemble, lead intense and meaningful worship. Jeff Carnie, our Contemporary Worship Pastor, and his team of accomplished musicians are committed to creating an energetic environment that encourages freedom of expression, adding to the authenticity of worship. Music is taken from Israel Houghton, Hillsongs Australia, Travis Cottrell, Tommy Walker, the Brooklyn Tabernacle and Chris Tomlin, just to name a few. Passion Service at First Baptist Church Elk Grove

Where passion meets purpose - think contemporary rock…drums, electric guitars and high energy, yet, mixed with times of acoustic reflection. This late morning service, led by Pastor Joel Neufeld and his team of devoted musicians, is designed to evoke a time of guitar-driven praise in a relaxed and informal environment. Read More
